The 4th Street Market may be the most exciting development project in Santa Ana in a generation. The Market is a stunning mix of store where local artisans can sell their products, a demonstration kitchen for culinary programming, classes, community events and local chef demonstrations, eight quick- service food stands, an artisan coffee lab, beer, wine and cocktails, and seating for approximately 200 diners scattered throughout the market and in the open air garden in the beer garden behind the building. There are also be ten certified kitchens that can be rented by the hour by local artisans. Three of these kitchens are gluten free and another is dedicated to confectionary.
The 4th Street Market sits in the heart of the “East End” district of downtown Santa Ana, which is centered on the intersection of Fourth and Spurgeon Streets. The East End hosts Playground, its sister restaurant, Playground 2.0, Dough Exchange, The Yost Theater and Frida Cinema, El Mercado, Yojie (a Japanese shabu shabu restaurant), Wursthaus, Native Son Alehouse, Taqueria Guadelajara, and a number of exciting retailers.
Recess is a bar offering craft beers, artisan cocktails, well selected wines and house-made soft drinks to accompany the exciting food offerings of the 4th Street Market mini-restaurants. Or you can just sit with us and watch the game while sipping the beverage of your choice.
